About us
A practical JSON toolkit built for clarity and privacy.
Merge JSON is an independent web project that helps developers, students, analysts, and technical teams work with JSON files without sending their data to a server.
Our mission
Developers work with JSON every day, but many online tools make simple tasks harder than they need to be. Merge JSON was created to provide fast, understandable, browser-based tools for merging, formatting, validating, converting, sorting, flattening, and inspecting JSON data. Our goal is to make routine data work safer, faster, and easier to understand.
What makes Merge JSON different
- Client-side processing. Core JSON tools run in your browser. Files you paste or load into the tools are processed locally and are not uploaded to our servers.
- Clear controls. We expose options such as deep merge, array handling, delimiters, formatting, and export modes so the result is predictable.
- No account required. The tools are free to use and do not require a login, subscription, or file upload.
- Educational content. Our guides explain JSON concepts, common errors, conversion workflows, and safe ways to handle structured data.
What we build
The site includes a growing collection of JSON utilities, including the JSON merge tool, JSON formatter, JSON validator, JSON converters, JSON table tools, JSONL tools, Base64 tools, and mock JSON generation. We also publish practical articles and a plain-language how it works guide so visitors can understand what each tool does before relying on its output.
Editorial and quality standards
We aim to keep every page useful, accurate, and easy to navigate. Tool pages include direct functionality first, followed by explanations, examples, frequently asked questions, and links to related JSON guides. We avoid misleading claims, hidden downloads, deceptive navigation, and content created only for advertising.
Advertising and transparency
Merge JSON may display advertising to help keep the tools free. Ads are separate from our tools and editorial content, and we do not ask visitors to click ads or present ads as navigation, downloads, or tool actions. You can learn more in our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.
