Terms and Conditions
Last updated: June 14, 2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Merge JSON, the website, tools, articles, and related pages available at mergejsonfiles.com ("the Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Use of the Service
Merge JSON provides browser-based tools for JSON merging, formatting, validation, conversion, sorting, flattening, mock data generation, and related workflows. You may use the Service for personal, educational, professional, and commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and applicable law.
2. Your data and responsibility
Core tool processing happens locally in your browser. We do not upload or store the JSON files, snippets, or output you process inside the tools. You are responsible for the data you choose to load, for keeping backup copies, for confirming you have the right to use that data, and for reviewing output before using it in production, legal, financial, medical, security, or other sensitive workflows.
3. Accuracy and no professional advice
We work to keep the tools and educational content accurate and useful, but the Service is provided for general information and productivity purposes only. It is not legal, financial, security, compliance, or professional advice. Always verify generated or converted output before relying on it.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, abusive, fraudulent, or infringing activity.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape aggressively, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes, or compromise the Service or its infrastructure.
- Use the Service to process data you are not authorized to access or use.
- Misrepresent Merge JSON as your own service or remove proprietary notices.
- Use automated traffic, deceptive navigation, malware, or unwanted pop-ups in connection with the Service.
5. Advertising and monetization
The Service may display advertising, including Google AdSense or other third-party ads. Ads help keep the tools free. You agree not to generate artificial impressions or clicks, encourage others to click ads, or use the Service in a way that violates advertising program policies. Ads are separate from our tools, navigation, and editorial content.
6. Intellectual property
The Service's design, branding, text, layout, documentation, and code are owned by Merge JSON or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. The JSON data and results you process remain yours; we claim no ownership over your tool input or output.
7. Third-party links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or resources. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party sites.
8. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for your specific needs.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Merge JSON and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including loss of data, profits, revenue, business, or goodwill.
10. Changes to the Service
We may update, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also revise these Terms when needed. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest version.
11. Changes to these Terms
Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the revised Terms, stop using the Service.
